Bicycle Storage Ideas

Cycling is a very fun sport. It’s muscle-powered and eco-friendly. But, it is bulky. Most of us don’t bother to put it on a special place. We just simply park it at the backyard or in the garage. We never really thought of putting them in the house because they can be quite dirty sometimes. Besides, they kinda get in the way and take up some space. So, the garage is the usual spot for them. However, today we’re gonna challenge that thought. See it for yourself!

1. Book Bike

The book bike is a combination of bike and book storage. The idea is to turn bike storage into part of a home decor. I say they did the job pretty well.

4. Rear Bike Wheel Holding Shelf

Look at this gorgeous design! It’s a nice thing to have in the living room considering how beautiful it is. The back of the bike wheel is secured on the shelf with a strap. There’s tiny shelves by the side to store your bike gear.

5. Standing Bicycle Rack For Two

Two is just the right number! Anything more than that, you might have to use a ladder to get your bike off it. Placing horizontally is actually looks nicer than vertical. The tiny shelf on top of the bike seat holder can be used to put your helmet or decorative items such as flower vases.

7. Slide-In Floating Bike Shelf

Sometimes, simplicity is the best design quality. This floating shelf has a slide-in slot for the frame of your bike. With this, you can take your bike off quickly.

Alternate idea.

This is an alternative slot-in bike holding that you can consider. Since the bike seat is mostly the same size, it’s probably a better option than to use the frame to slot in. Besides, the bike design in image above is tilted at an angle.

8. Wooden Bike Rack

Both of these floating shelves work hand-in-in hand to secure the bike. The best part is that it can be adjusted to suit most bikes. It’s understandable that bike designs are different. The bike frame maybe tilted at a different angle. With this shelf, you can put your shelves high or low so that your bike will always be displayed in perfect horizontal.

9. Bike Desk

The bike desk is specially designed for you to sit on your bike as you work. I think i’ll put this in the garage. Gonna make the garage my workstation next.

10. Long Bike-Hanging Shelves

If you have long floating shelves, you can basically install straps at the bottom of it for the bike. Putting on random things such as photo frame, planter and helmets makes the entire display looks wonderful. There’s beauty in random.
