Repurpose Old Books

Most of us have a huge collection of books that we keep in our house for various reasons. It can be textbooks from high school and college. Or random collection of cheap books that we bought from book fairs. No matter what the reason it may be, when it’s starting to pile up, we have to do something about it. Donating them is the easiest but there can be something else that we can actually do with them before deciding to get rid of them forever. So, here we’ve round up some useful ideas on how you can reuse the books for something greater than its purpose!

1. Floating Display Shelves

The books are floating! Not only this looks like a magic display, it’s also a functional one. You can put your trophies, gundam models and whatnot for display. It truly turns your house into a mini museum.

3. Book Planter

A stack of book makes a pretty unique planter too! It’s probably less messy if you just make the hole big enough to fit the planter instead of making a planter out of the book itself. That way, you can just simply slide the planter into the hole of the book.

9. Coffee Table

Here’s another great example on how we can repurpose old books. It might be a good idea to stick the base on a wider piece of board for stability purpose. If you’re not installing wheels at the bottom, it might be a great idea to hollow it out a bit to make it lighter.
