shiba inu toast on a wooden tray

Add the Shiba Inu cuteness to your breakfast toast with this easy and simple breakfast recipe. In fact, it looks so cute, you won’t be willing to ruin it with a spread of peanut butter or jam before taking a bite! This is a beauty and it basically needs to be framed and put up on a wall! It’s just too cute to eat! You will need microwave oven for this. Here’s how to make this Shiba Inu toast for your morning meal:

Ingredients:

  • Bread slices
  • aluminium foil
  • scissors
  • piping bag
  • chocolate sauce
  • strawberry jam (or any red colored jam)

1. Cut out an aluminium square

Take a pair of scissors and cut out a square shaped out of the aluminium sheet. It should be enough to cover the white surface of the bread. This is the first step of creating your cute shiba inu toast. You have to cut out as many as the slices of bread that you can put into a single tray of the oven.

2. Cut out the dog shape

Use the scissors to roughly cut out the shape of the dog silhouette out of the aluminium foil. It can just be just a simple semi circle shape with two pointy ears.

3. Place the aluminium sheet for the snout

With the cutout aluminium foil, cut another shape out for the snout of the shiba inu toast.

4. Place the aluminum sheet for the ears and eyes

Carefully cut out the shape for the ears and eyes with the cutout of the aluminium foil earlier.

Place it gently on top of the bread.

5. Put inside the oven

Put the trays of shiba inu toast into the oven. Bake it at 180 degrees for 5 minutes. This is enough to give it a little toasty texture. The aluminium foil actually protects the bread from being toasted.

You can bake it longer to give it a darker toast. That is up to your preference. But be careful not to over bake it!

6. Decorate the eyes

Fill a piping bag with chocolate. I personally prefer to stuff the piping bag with Nutella. Just can’t get enough of that hazel nutty craze!

Carefully squeeze the chocolate out to form the eyes. Simple dot works just fine!

7. Draw the outlines with chocolate

Add more aesthetic to the shiba inu toast with outlines of chocolate. Use the piping bag for better control. Carefully create dotted lines around the dog shape.

You can make full solid lines too for more chocolaty taste. It wouldn’t be wrong to paint the toasted part with all chocolate as well. That’s how you get a brown shiba inu! The creative choice is entirely up to you!

8. Decorate with strawberry jam

Take a small spoon and smear some jam on the cheeks. Slowly twirl it around to make an ellipse. Now, the shiba inu toast have a cute cheek that makes everyone go awe. Are you going to eat this? I mean, can you?
