2. Lobster Crab Cage Christmas Tree

Lobster cage, boxes, crates – if you can stack them up, you can make a Christmas tree out of it! This is one good example of making good use of what you have in hand especially when you’re in the lobster business. But fret not, you can do the same with cheaper and more accessible items such as wooden crates and unwanted boxes from the grocery stores. First, you need to estimate the number of boxes you will need from the base to the top. Stack them up and decorate around with basic decoration items like faux green garland. 3. Cartoon-style Christmas Tree Stand

This Christmas tree gets an artistic twist too it and it looks gorgeous! The basic foundation for this is simple. It’s made with two pieces of large paper piece drawn and painted to look like Christmas trees. Then, they’re glued to the rod which act as the spine to it. 6. Pallet Wood Zig Zag Christmas Tree

Simple, light and stunning – this pallet wood tree looks amazingly harmonious with the white-ish furniture and wall background. It’s a great idea to use if you have scrap woods laying around in the garage. To make this, it might be best to nail rectangular boards together in a simple zig zag motion. Lay the on the ground first and place the pieces one by one. Get the overall look and feel as correctly as possible. When you’re satisfied, nail them down. Then, saw the edges off to make it look like a Christmas tree. Make sure to construct the base well. Lastly, decorate with simple string light.

This looks almost like the stacked shelf tree idea but with frames instead. Each frames are not connected to the rod! They are secured with 4 pieces of wire on each side of the square. The single rod in the center is the backbone and is only connected to all the frame on its top. This creates the illusion as if the frames are floating. 10. Round Wooden Christmas Tree Spirals

This entire tree is made with wood! Each wooden dowels are pierced through a rod and is rotated accordingly forming the beautiful shape of a tree. You could create something similar with wooden dowels. The basic star shape is pretty simple to replicate. Power tools might be needed to drill holes through the dowels. A piece of metal or wooden rod will be needed to unite all these dowels in this creation. You might have to consider gluing them in place so they don’t get rotated off easily when you  put on other decoration items.
