Halloween is getting near and there’s no meaningful way to celebrate it other than scaring the heck out of your visitors and passerby. One of the most iconic item that people use as part of the prop is skeleton. The bony horror will set fear to those who see it. Today, we will be exploring some amazing ideas on how to use a skeleton prop as part of your home decor! Some simple add-on might need to be done on the prop. Some artworks involve painting to give the prop a little bit more texture. In others, you can probably put up some fake blood and dark eerie clothing. 1. Skeleton Emerging From The Ground

There’s nothing more horrifying than seeing something creepy coming at you! This skeleton prop has hair which adds to the creepiness that the creator intends to project. The slight dark color on the bones adds more spine-chilling fear to it. Expect that the prop might get a whack or two as some might feel the need to defend themselves from this!

You can place it along the walk way or just outside your house. It’s amazing how these torches look. The stick is made of bamboo which adds a huge difference to the prop compared to if you’re using plastic instead. The skeleton is cooking something and I don’t want to know what!! Like a witch, cooking soups of unthinkable things, this skeleton is doing the same! It has a dark worn-out robe covering it, giving the impression that it may used to be a witch. The glowing eyes and the lighted cauldron would make it an awesome sight when the day goes dark.

Oh my God! The skeleton has awakened from its thousand years of slumber! This is a huge prop! In fact, the more life-size it gets, the better in setting off people running away! The creator also put a reddish glow inside the box which is the perfect color choice to cast fear upon those who set sight on it.

7. Corpse Skeleton

 

What’s more fearsome than a clean skeleton? It’s a skeleton with still some flesh in-tact! You will need a skeleton prop and wrap it all with plastic tarp. Then, use heat gun to make the plastic melt. It would stick onto the skeleton prop. After you are satisfied with the design and all, you can use wood stain to give it the roasted meat color. 8. Torture Rack

Show to everyone what happens to those who make fun of you with this realistic torture rack! It will sure set fear to those people around you. That will teach them from messing up with you! Jokes aside, this is an awesome prop. If the creator would colorize the screws and chain to make it look rusty, that would be amazing!

Add a little tribal feel to your Halloween party! These skulls on pike not only look scary, it is also decorated with other props like feathers, grass and a lot of tribal-like markings around it. It truly shows that your party has been invaded by some cannibal tribes!

10. Creepy Coffin

There’s something inside wanting to come out!! You can actually make this using reclaimed wood. The more worn-out it is, the better. Some painting might be necessary to create the old look to it. Add some moss here and there. Punch a few holes here and there as well. Don’t forget to stuff the skeleton props around the opening to make it look like it’s trying to get out.
