Decorate Flower Pots Ideas

Every home needs plants. They beautify the surrounding and just simple pleasant to look at. We typically grow our greens inside orange pot which is all right. But, what if we want something special for our plants? Of course we could buy a new decorative planter and transfer it. That’ll be a little bit costly. Before you go for that, have a look at the ideas here. They involve a little bit of modifications on your current planter. Save the hassle of transferring your plants between pots. Try these cool ideas!

1. Moss Covered Pot

Transform the common pot look entirely with sheet moss! Just wrap the sheet moss around the planter and secure it with twine. You can use adhesive spray if you want to for extra security. Ain’t that gorgeous?

2. Bamboo Sticks

My God! This is another cool display! Simply tie top and bottom part of the sticks with copper wire. Align them with the pot as you do so till you get the complete pot shape. The bamboo will dry and turn yellowish but it’s still fine to be displayed that way!

3. Hanging Wooden Basket

4. Wood Slices

Here’s one frugal option that don’t look cheap at all. Simply glue some chopped wood slices onto the planter for a natural woody look. It’s another great way to bring part of nature’s design into your abode.

5. River Stone

Look at this new transformation! The creator mentioned that making this is like solving a puzzle. You have to be patient to find the right piece before gluing it. Always start from the bottom and work your way to the top. Once completed, it makes a fine pot for outdoor display.

6. Twigs

The idea here is quite similar with that of the bamboo sticks but with dried twigs. It’s more frugal and it looks great. Instead of using copper wire, twin is used instead. It kinda matches the woody texture of the twigs.

7. Rope-Wrapped Pots

Another simple way to decorate the pot is to wrap it around with some ropes. Glue it with hot glue while you wrap till the top. You can make an imprint of an anchor onto the final piece for a nautical accent.
