Outdoor Decorative Lighting

A good outdoor lighting can make your outdoor space more warm and enjoyable. It’ll become a lovely placeĀ  to be with your loved ones, and other social events at night. One important criteria to set the mood right is a right outdoor lighting. It needs to be able to light up the place good enough for a clear visibility. Having a cool decorative feature is a plus and in this list, we’re looking into that extra decorative feature that a lighting should have. 1. Grass Shade Lantern

Lanterns are the perfect lighting for a warm ambiance. The usual shades of orange is enough to illuminate the darkness while at the same time being soft to the eyes. And, this lovely grass shade is actually portable. The shade is made with wax paper that is secured onto the wooden frame. Real grasses are used for the decoration. 2. Cracked Lamp Log

The wooden stump isn’t exactly cracked. A fine artistic chipping made it looked like it’s cracked. Some wood work maybe required and if you know what you’re doing, you can probably turn it into a seat as well.

3. Mason Jar Lights

Mason jars make perfect containers for fireflies and also string lights! Put battery operated string lights into the mason jar and hang them around the backyard. You could setup poles so the mason jar can hang at specific point around your garden. You can also use candles too.

5. Bottled Lights

Light up some bottles along the fences! Different color bottles emit different lighting. So, even if you’re using string lights of the same color, you’ll get a mix of different coloration.

6. Pendant Shades

If you have battery-operated light bulbs just dangling on your patio, why not make a simple shade for it? This simple rectangular hole lamp shade is made with a candle holder. You could use other stuffs like a thin sheet of paper for the same effect.
