Pallet Furniture DIY

 

Furniture doesn’t have to be all expensive. Certainly with great pricing, you’ll get higher quality and unique designs. But, if you just want a normal furniture, you can consider making your own with pallets. It’s much more cheaper and does what it’s intended to do. So, here’s some great DIYs that you can make using pallets. Enjoy!

1. Pallet Book Shelf

 

Every house needs a book shelf. It’s not only good for books but other things as well. It’s certainly a storage furniture that any house can make use of.

2. Fold-Up Desk

Here’s a rather unique DIY you must try! The fold-up desk allows you to save some valuable space in your room. Just pull it down when you need to use a desk. Fold it back up when you’re done with it. There’s even little shelves on the pallet wall that allows you to put decorative ornaments.

3. Reading Nook

This is another unique creation. I mean it’s just a chair but it’s designed to take up the corner space of the room.

Every home needs a working desk and here’s one. It’s a basic design of desk using pallet wood for the table and 4 ikea table legs.

5. Pallet Coffee Table

The coffee table is definitely a must in every house hold. It’s an ergonomic furniture that is designed to match the height of most sofa. This isĀ  just a basic design. You can improve it by adding a glass surface on top. That way, you don’t need to use a coaster every time you put a cold drink on it.

What a nice idea! Now, you have a place to sit while you tie your shoes!

7. Pallet Sofa

The basic furniture sets that a house needs is finally coming together. Now, we have a sofa! The design is pretty much identifiable at first glance. You probably should find the right cushion size first before making the frame of this sofa.

Ride the hype of open closet with this DIY pallet version of it. It has all the basics a dresser should have – a wooden rod to hold the hangers, a shelf at the bottom for shoes and whatnot. There’s even storage space on top for the regular boxes of items.

Sit anywhere with a good old stool! It’s light and portable and you can make it with different heights for different purpose. Make a taller one to sit by the bar. Create a shorter one to sit as you garden at the backyard.
